2277/78 Punjab Exp and other trains going from HWH and SDAH towards ASR/JAT get their loco changes in the following manner. From Calcutta to Mughalsarai is a loco of WAP-4 Series. From Mughalsarai to Ludhiana is a loco of WDM/WDP Series. Finally, from Ludhiana to Amritsar is a loco of WAP-4 Series again BUT incase of Ludhiana to Jammu Tawi is a loco of WDM Series of LDH Shed. By the way, any idea of when will the JRC-JAT Electrification and Track Doubling of JAT-UHP Routes be completed ?? Thanks.
Are u sure, it get any WAP-4 post LDH!!!
LDH & ASR arnt that far apart, that the train would be halted that long for LOCO change!!
If it change, it can be changed @ Saharanpur too, towards ASR!!!
