It used to run regularly till the pandemic hit. Since then, it was cancelled and now permanently cancelled. It used to get quite some passengers and was the primary link b/w GKP-AY.

One can hope so. Currently, it's a special train, let's see if it's regularized or not. This stretch is familiar to me and the trains run chock full. There's a good chance that many passengers might not carry valid tickets, which is why IR might not get enough returns on running this train. In either case, I rarely saw TTEs, if any on passenger trains in this stretch.

No TTE never in this train🤣🤣. By the way from Basti Manwar Sangam is one more option to Ayodhya from many stations it halts.

I am aware. Though Manwar Sangam doesn't go upto GKP. This is the shortest route b/w GKP PYG but the track conditions post Ayodhya are so bad that trains don't hit past fifty kmph.
