Just for a comparison, why LKO-GKP division is much slower the other divisions(Double Electric-Line with 110KM/hour Max speed), for example LKO-BSB and LKO-MB is much faster, where superfast train have max average speed of 70KM/hour, where LKO-GKP section have max average speed of 58KM/hour. Please give me your thought, why LKO-GKP division is still slow.
You are absolutely right. This section is comparatively slow even double line & electrified. As per news paper & media reports NER spokesperson said many times that this section is going to upgrade upto 130 speed. Recently I had a news in newspaper that according to Railway Board this section will be upgrade upto 160 speed. Double distant signalling, automatic signal system installment etc is going on according to NER as per local news papers report. Let's see what will happen??
The controlling is shit in many ways. I had an experience with the Satyagraha express where it did less than thirty kms in four hours. And no, there wasn't any fog.
