There should be an option to unfollow some members. Regardless of which forum if unfollowed posts should be hidden, unless one wants to see it. (Similar to Twitter)
On clicking do you wish to see this post only can be seen.

Block is the most misused feature. Someone blocks then he becomes FMs and can see evey post and other person can't be see forget of replying.
