The curse of delay at station outer that continues to delay train.
Left Lko at 10.50 am and yet to reach Varanasi 11 hours later.

Single line & way too many stoppages , most mail trains stop at all 3 stations in Ayodhya city . there's no local train so these trains stop at grade D stations too.
but all of that doesn't matter bcoz on this route they will halt trains for however long they won't without any logical explanation. today it took 3.5 hrs to travel 54km.

there should not be any comparison, SLN line doesn't have as many trains as AyC line, they're managing this much in single line ,
There's a thermal power plant too on this route which when combined with passenger trains creates too much congestion here.
Not to forget the branch lines to Mankapur, Azamgarh, Aunrihar etc, SLN doesn't have any.

Should have prioritized this route. How will they handle load once Ayodhya becomes the new top religious destination. Demands might be there for new and diverting existing trains. Currently it is a nightmare for travellers
Their are not enough passenger train on sln line that doesn't mean it has no traffic and if it doesn't have train why it is double line section and the ayc line which has congested is still single line section... Doubling is in progress in ayc line... sln line has double or triple amount of freight train compare to ayc line... single line section and poor controlling are the main victim for such a bad run of all train
