Since examination still in progress. To get it reality(I mean papper to construction) it would require more time. Mean while Railway can build Narsapur to Kotipalli line at the earliest and opened for at least Goods traffic. So that railway can reduce the goods traffic in mainline. What ever the goods trains they want run in branchline Or No need to touch Rajahmundry and other impartant places in mainline. They can divert from samarlakorta - kotipalli- Narsapur. Yeah agree there is difference in KM to run but it won’t more than 80 KM. Really I don’t know the railway rules here. This is available alternative only that railway can consider.

The present railcum road bridge is nearing 50yrs and present operating speed of express trains is 60kmph while goods trains is 30kmph. The third bridge has piers and will take atleast 2- 3 yrs to build. If don't start to construct now they will reach a point where they need to restrict the operating speed of goods trains after 5 yrs and will add to the already existing traffic wors in peak hours when they are train schedules within 10mins. Even the running speed from Rajahmudry Cabin which is 2km before station and approach to bridge is less and cannot attain full speed till the train leaves kovvur tation due to great curve. Further the Narsapur Kotipalli Railway line tentative target date is 2025-26 provided the state govt handovers the land atleast in this year(land acquisition is not done fully and only bridges construction is in place). traffic from mainline there should be a bypass before the kakinada town station and also the point where it touches Narsapur line just after the bridge towards palakollu to avoid loco change which we don't have any plan as of now.

Both New Bridge on Godavari river & Krishna river
need to be on pipeline ASAP.
Otherwise both Passenger's and Railways will face Heavy lose in between 2030 - 2040
Both Krishna & Godavari rivers going to show their Rage in Future.

these Outdated bridges can't handle.

In Passenger's & Freight prospective DVD - GDR stretch is important in HwH - Mas mainline.
So third line is important.
ECoR is already strengthening Jaleswar - Vizianagaram stretch.
