1. As before, you will be able to quickly DELETE your IRI User account at ANY time. However, the menu option for this was hidden in the profile page, and could not easily be located. Now the menu option for Deleting accounts will be made more prominent, to make it easy for users to quickly delete their IRI account whenever they want. more... is disabled. Users are encouraged to DELETE their account if they will no longer be coming back to IRI or taking a long break. If you are busy with other things, not happy with the site, etc., the best thing would be to delete your account.
2. You will be able to AUTOMATICALLY RESTORE (no need to message moderator, etc.) your account at any time, by simply logging in with your previous email id. When you reinstate your account, your deleted account is immediately restored and all your past anonymized blogs will immediately have your name, and also your past monitorships/privileges are immediately restored. So you will be able to quickly delete your IRI account and/or also quickly RESTORE your IRI account (if you want) at any time.
3. You will be able to create MULTIPLE accounts (called Profiles) with the SAME email ID. So, NO NEED to login with multiple email IDs to create "fake" accounts. You will be able to switch and blog under MULTIPLE profiles easily from a SINGLE login. Each account/profile will be just like a SEPARATE account, and have its OWN stats. However, any deliberate mischief/violation of rules will yield an SW for the entire account, until the SW is resolved. Your identity will remain hidden and no one including FMs will know about your other profiles. As stated above, you will also be able delete and reinstate your profiles at any time.
4. We shall be bringing back anonymous blogging. You will still need to login, but you can post a blog anonymously. As before, any deliberate mischief/violation of rules will yield an SW, and must be resolved to resume site activities. As before, your other profiles/identities will remain hidden from everyone including FMs.
