@12229 Train, Lucknow Delhi Mail...i think its very high time, this train should be speeded up...it takes hell lot of time to reach Delhi,,aprrox 9 hours for 500 kms....agar 0530-0600 hours delhi pahuche to it would be great...

I know there are slow divisions in SWR, SR, SCR, ECR, NER but in this case only MB division is applicable so I have only pointed out that. Comparing North and South divisions slow MPS section is not expected from North as they have flat terrains, double and electrified tracks since a very long time compared to South which has curves, gradients and in some places single and unelectrified tracks as well
you have no idea about MB division so keep quiet. Don't compare apples to oranges. Even if MB is given the infrastructure that AGC has, it will still be shit!
Yeah, I've heard that the GZB - MB - LKO line has an MPS of only around 100, but most trains still maintain only 70 - 80.
See the train departs Hapur at 5 am and reaches delhi around 7 am. 2 Hours for 60 kms is not done. Itna lamba bhi route nhi h..ki ab slack diya jaye.
