Why it has been cancelled? Any chance for restore? How to travel to Kangra then?
Chakki river bridge was washed away in August in a flash flood. No chances of restoration of trains till Pathankot for a couple of months.
As of now, two pairs of trains are running between Jassur (Nurpur Road) and Paprola only.
From Pathankot, one can either take a direct bus to Kangra or up to Jassur (20km from PTK) and then train.
