This train is started for Diwali Festival . It ran 2 trips with name Bhavnagar Bandra Pooja Special. This train got excellent response from bhavnagar people bcoz 12971/72 Bhavnagar Bandra SF Express was only train that connected Bhavnagar with Mumbai . After that this train trips extended to 6 months . Bhavnagar Para Railway division proposed for this train to run it permanently . Proposal was passed and train became permanent . Earlier Name of this train is Pooja SF Express but changed due to another train named AII JAT Pooja SF Express . Currently this train runs with Name Bhavnagar Bandra Weekly SF Express .
