I'm with two options (1st and 3rd). It will save travel and LR time too.
No point in running it as VB, as KR is still single line from Veer to Madgaon and considering the train traffic won’t help to reduce to Travel Time, converting Tejas to Vande Bharat will only upgrade the rake.
Also Speed Restrictions Due to geographical conditions wont benifit at all mainly during monsoon times. Only a New VB will result in Waste of resources.
Actually, VBs greatest advantage is Faster acceleration and decelerations which inturn helps recover the delays.
If VB (ex Tejas) is allowed to depart at 05:30 hrs with JS taking present Tejas schedule, it should work wonders and both JS and VB will be running RT and VB infact will bring down the run time to 8 hrs 15 mins
