Check the timings for Deccan Queen. It used to take LESS time when it was introduced between Bombay and Pune than today. Primary reason being mps of track remained same while it has three extra stoppages today.
Not only the mps remained.. Population has increased manifold and expanding to smaller towns and cities.. Its no surprising that we may even see more halts in the coming days.
