I need to go to KanniyaKumari (SBC to CAPE) on 20th Oct 2012. 16526 Island Exp is showing W/L 277 in SL class on that day. It's just only a week left for DOJ. Should I go for it?? Any chances of confirmation?? Any help would be appreciated.

Honestly i dont have any idea of Island express tatkal.. You may try for that also.. Other members/admins may help.. as far as kurla is concerned, i think you can secure a seat there..
take sbc to tvc bus n from dere regular service of buses by ksrtc n tnrtc are there..
else take sbc. ern intercity exp.. reach ern n catch island exp from ern nxt day.. u can ask for sleeper class ticket at counter

u can give a try for tatkal as availability is 259 for SL. Also the day 20th is saturday so won't be that much of rush as it usually used to be on friday.
Kindly keep waht Mr.AJ said in reply 15 as the last option.. this can be done if you cant secure any tickets..
