Is there any difference in PRS and online booking interm of seat confirmation.

Always had an opposite experience. They had helped giving preferred seat many times while compared to booking through irctc.
I have experienced that a bunch of times. One time i was at PRS counter at BGKT..although i mentioned in the form for window seat in CC, i firmly requested him to give me my desired seat...

Although 140 seats AVL...he gave me aisle seat. How pathetic.

But, in Palam PRS, Delhi...people are good, they listen to your requests. I went there several times during second half.
Don't know. Faced this same situation once in fulera too during connecting journey and once in udaipur...they never gave the desired berth.
