In winters/Foggy situations, IR should increase the rack for Rajdhani train with extra reserved rack from UP/DOWN station, i.e. for example if the UP train is delayed the DOWN train can start on time. WR has similar arrangements for its pair of Rajdhani's. August Kranti and Bombay(12951) have 5 rakes.I remember once due to some reason August Kranti got delayed 4+ hrs. WR used the spare rake on that date.
Both of Kolkata Rajdhani don't have spare racks in Delhi. Hence, when train from Kolkata gets late, the return train also gets late.
