Please update Gooty Fort Railway Station in Maps & Station - Mr. Moderator.

The there is no relation of Gooty fort name location is not in the station nearby. Instead should have named it Gooty Bypass.
Gooty Fort is famous in Gooty. So they kept station name as Gooty Fort. That will helpfull for tourism in Gooty.
Agreed with your point here, SCR asked for public opinion and got two names Gooty Fort and G Hampanna (Gallant Gatekeeper), Revenue Dept sent its nod for Gooty Fort in hope that it would improve tourism in the area.
