I doubt,If VB has patronage on this route,Then why was a Shatabdi not introduced on this route?
Shatabdi was introduced in 2000 but didn't get enough patronage so canceled. Things have changed in the past 20yrs and now triweekly AC duronto and AC are running to Vskp and kakinada apart from 3 regular express trains having 8 AC coaches each from SC. VJA vskp has two intercity running either 3 ACC each and a Uday exp now. These have created enough of travellers for VB now. SC Vja Vskp is has 100% occupancy in last 4 weeks of running while Vskp BZA 100%occupancy and Vskp SC 100% except 3 days in last week where it got 90%.
