During IRCTC website tatkal booking, if i am booking 2 tickets with option tick on "Book only if confirm tickets available" and 1 ticket is confirm and 1 is going into WL. Will the system book both tickets, or Just 1 confirm ticket, or won't book both the tickets. Please tell.
It will book only one ticket. If you select book only if confirm ticket available it will take the criteria and if it's WL it won't book and will return to main screen.
It will book 2 tickets but will pop up the option of no confirmed seat or wl or something (I cannot recall exactly as it's been few years since I booked now) and then it will you an option of proceed or not but all of this will happen after making payment (like I said it's been a while now - things might have changed now )
It won't book 1 ticket also, no partial availability. It will go with either full or none.
