Yes. MPS increased to 110 KMPH sometime back. I think earlier it was 70 MPS. As of now this is the only 110 MPS section beyond Madurai. Thanks.
Good amount of time reduction in this stretch where trains have excessive stoppages.
If Amritha Exp is not being extended to RMM, SR should look at merging the Amritha Exp and PGT-TCN Exp into a single train in an RSA with MS-TCN Exp.
