This viaduct is was completed at in 1856 ad supervised by Mr
Total 280 culverts arch with 6 meters each and a one meter wall between them and with the both end parts
01 km by length and was constructed at cost of €20,000
It is made for passing the overflowed water of Banka river which was previously fed by Damodar's water branching off from Jamalpur

This viaduct is completed at 1856 ad supervised by Mr

Situated between Gangpur and Barddhaman, it is a marvelous example of early engineering

Foundation is also made up of brick and by inverted arch the whole weight distributed equally
