What is the issue with Katni Murwara station train comes on time and gets delayed by 3 or more hours on daily basis while entering station the train waits for 2 hours and while departing takes 1 or 2 hours to come on main line. WCR or IR needs to look at this urgently this I have observed from last 4-5 months
Heavy freight traffic on that route. This is prevalent from last one year. The most affected trains are the one which comes from jabalpur side and goes towards Bilaspur. They have to criss cross whole up and down lines while going from Katni South to new katni junction on bilaspur line and same applies for vice versa. I have myself experienced this when i was onboard amarkantak express. It was halted at new katni junction for almost one hour whole freights overtook us.
If this is the case WCR needs to look at this on priority as this is impacting the schedule of passenger trains. To handle it in more better way
