Taking a step further towards Electrification in Tinsukia Division, mast erection work was commenced on 07.04.2023, in Furkating-Mariani Section (Via Titabar). 22 nos of masts were erected on date. @RailNf

I am trying to say the whole area from LMG to DBRG , LMG to SCL is huge task for a single PSU for electrification. Rather they can divide this into some feasible parts and give different agencies like CORE, RVNL, Power Grid etc. The performance IRCON in any part of the country is not satisfactory. Just take an example to Siliguri to Alipurduar JN Road Electrification. The estimated completion timing was 20 months from 17 Mar 2021 at a cost of Rs 419.7 crore . But reality is still 40%-50% work is pending . So IRCON is not the good choice in any case.
But Work Is Being Carried Out By KEC International Is It Different
I Think CORE Should Have Taken Incharge for Railway Electrification instead of IRCON But it's Railways Work And We can't Do Anything
