Good trains do run in slots allocated for freights. But individual goods trains are not given dedicated strict time tables like the passenger trains. Good trains also fall into several categories. For examples perishable commodities like milk etc are given higher priority. Similarly during peak Covid times, Oxygen Expresses were being run with dedicated green corridors specifically provided to them. They were given the highest priorities, levels that are specifically reserved for accident and relief trains.
