The government should focus on upgrading the train tracks first, especially for the Delhi-Howrah and Delhi-Mumbai routes which were supposed to be upgraded by 2025

IMO the government should focus on upgrading the train tracks first, especially the routes where it is possible to achieve speeds of 130 kmph.....

Isi Yug mein hum saare jee rahe hain, Chicha... for the last 5-6 years I have been hearing about upgradation of Delhi Mumbai and Delhi Howrah route to 160kmph MPS... even as early as 2017-18... nothing yet on ground. Delhi Howrah isn't even 100% 130kmph yet... many stretches in between with MPS 75-90 kmph... abhi toh sab jumla lag raha hai...
Does redevelopment of stations include increase in no. of platforms or is it just modernisation of existing platforms. If platforms are increased at the busiest stations then delays caused due to platform unavailability can be reduced.
