Coromandel express accident news live: Several injured as Coromandel Express derails in Odisha's Balasore district after collision with goods train
Several people are feared injured as 12841 Coromandel Express from Shalimar to Chennai derailed at Bahanaga station in Balasore district of Odisha. Around 200 passengers are trapped in the overturned coaches of the superfast train. Quoting preliminary reports, a railway official said that the Coromandel train was moving on the mainline. After derailment it hit a goods train standing on the loop line. The Express train is believed to have hit Yashwantpur-Howrah Express from behind.

Just heard about this mishap from one of my friend. Very sad news. My deepest condolences to the bereaved families.
This is really heartbreaking ðŸ˜and sad news my deepest condolences to all the passengers.i wish the speed recovery of injured passengers.Railways need to improve on signalling and tracks maintenance along with fast LHB allotment to all the existing ICF trains must focus on safety as human life matters.
