In India, every one wants to give his judgement without even knowing any ground reality. Everyone is publishing their theory of accident and blaming either SM, LP or Signal department.

SM panel have video recordings and playback features.
Loco have recording of each and every pration of LP and ALP

Don't worry let them investigate and Be sure that culprit will be punished.

Also note every organisation try not to disclose the reason of real failure and that's fine in my view because it's nobody business to know the details of actual failure because it will also disclose the technical aspects which are not good for the safe operations in future.

As per Loco driver of Maalgari, Signal mei garbar tha. The Signal was green turned Red suddenly, then again turned Green before going off completely.

disaster. All the evidence points to ASM, Point Man having done a manual override of the system (giving green to Coromandel Express) without correcting the points themselves (which pointed to the loop). This is the best explanation as to why the signal was given and then taken-off.

I just hope Railways does a proper due-diligence and simply does not start peddling a sabotage theory. I think the statement of the BCCN Goods Train guard here is crucial. Was he able to see something suspicious near point 17A of BNBR before the ill-fated Coromandel Express crashed into the goods train.

We are nearly 30 years post the 1995 Firozabad Rail Disaster. A disaster of this magnitude leading to 275 deaths should not be happening in India in 2023.

Have a look at this post. Go through the news article the points summarised are scary. I have also enclosed the CAG audit report and I am going through it now and am discovering some horrifying findings in the report 😞. The report was done in FY 2021-22 for the period from April 2017 to March 2021. I don't know if Railways have considered the report seriously and steps are being taken.
If necessary steps being taken well and good otherwise we are pretty much in a horrible situation.
