Will these small-town folks be willing to pay Rs 600 for a 200km ride without food included? And can they fill up all 500 spots every day?

Pricing kaisi hai yaar? 600 rupaye ka hai 200 km ke liye, catering charge alag se. Kya ye tier 2 town wale har roz 500 log bhar paayenge?

Checked on IRCTC schedules yesterday from BWN (Bardhaman) to NJP (New Jalpaiguri) a total of 85 bookings in train number 12041. I don't think BHP (Bolpur) / RPH (Rampur Hat) can even come close to that. The weekly Rajdhani train number 12305 has around 90+ bookings for 3AC, 30+ for 2nd AC, and sometimes even some first AC bookings. In total, there are over 140+ passengers on average traveling from BWN to NDLS (New Delhi) every week. This is much higher than DGR (Durgapur) / ASN (Asansol). Still no premium trains though 😞.

Hafte bhar Rajdhani 12305 mai 90+ 3AC aur 30+ 2nd AC reserved hoti hai aur kabhi kabhi First AC bhi. BWN se NDLS tak har hafte average 140+ yatriyo ka safar hota hai. DGR/ASN se bhi bahut zyada. Fir bhi koi premium train nahi hai😞

Bhai, mujhe ek sawal hai. JRLE AZ (special JRLE) ke log itna emotional aur gusse me kyun ho jaate hain jab koi unke line ke baare mein sach bol deta hai?

You're not getting it, man. When it comes to Asansol and Durgapur in the Rajdhani Express, they have a limited number of seats available, called the remote quota. On the other hand, Barddhaman has a general quota, which means more seats. So, it's not fair to compare the number of passengers between a station with a general quota and a station with a remote quota. But hey, Barddhaman definitely deserves more high-class trains, no doubt about that.

Tu case of Asn/Dgr in Rajdhani exp mein ek important point miss kar raha hai. Dono Asn aur Dgr mein remote quota hai (limited seats) jabki Bwn mein Rajdhani mein General quota hai. Isliye ek gerenal quota station aur ek remote quota station ke beech passengers ki sankhya ka comparison sahi nahi hai.

Lekin haan, Barddhaman ko beshak aur bhi premium trains deserve karte hain, isme koi shaq nahi hai.
