A serious incident happened on 22.06.23 at Mayabazaar railway crossing in Durgapur, West Bengal. There was heavy traffic jam and so gateman could not close the gates on time. In the mean time, two Express trains arrived at the crossing and passed at very low speed. Several bikes and four wheelers can be seen stuck on both sides of the railway line. This is Dhanbad Howrah route with four parallel lines. Video taken by one of the local residents. I also live nearby this railway gate. There is demand of a flyover here since long time but no action has been taken by Railway or Govt. till date.
