Is there any chance of this train getting restored? This was the only train which used to go towards Chandigarh(and back too) in morning from Sonipat and Ganaur(with very suitable timings).

Maybe Gurgaon MP can collaborate with Sonipat MP to introduce HQ from Rewari in that case with something like below -

Rake is small because before 2019 lockdown 14795 used to run as this train's slip route from Panipat onwards. I don't think platform length issue will cause any major problem. This train was on the verge of getting restored(even the notice is there below in this train's forum) but politics ruined the train.
Ekta can't be shifted to an earlier slot. It already has bizarre timing from Bhiwani(04:25 AM) and you're saying make it more bizarre(extension can't be done because of this reason). Just imagine timing from Hisar.
There are already 2 trains from Bikaner to Ambala(from where Chandigarh is just 50 kms away with more than enough trains) - 14888 is daily and 14717 is tri-weekly, may be these 2 trains are serving well to the demand that's why they have not restored a replacement of Barmer Slip connection of bikaner to Chandigarh.

To run Himalayan Queen, I think running a Passenger/DEMU/MEMU train is only viable(and a good one seeing the ticket booking trends) alternative to 14795. When it used to run as slip almost half of its coaches used to remain at Panipat till evening when HQ came back, same can be done with Passenger/MEMU/DEMU or they can be run on some other route from Panipat if railway thinks so.
Running it only up to Chandigarh is not a good option as this train will pickup tourists(which explains waiting list this train used to have) from Delhi upto Kalka. Upto GGN, this train is fine but not beyond that. Gurgaon MP won't care anyways because there are enough AC and normal buses to Chandigarh plus metro makes the situation worse.
