sunilgaonkar 92 blog postsThe train should be extended To Vasco via RU, GTL, BAY, UBL as the 2nd pit line is commenced at VSG. Since this train does not have much patronage on the existing route due to daily 17309/10 VSG - YPR Express. Also it is the only train connecting Goa to hinterlands of AP.

Even then trains are not able to maintain that schedule. Always getting delayed.
Yes that should be done but since it's Vasco SWR won't care. Here focus is only to increase freight traffic this is one of the reason why locals oppose track doubling because even for a single line section passenger traffic is too low. The so called 2nd pitline at Vasco is in construction since 2019 but SWR not even bother to commission it yet.
Even the old pitline can accomodate max 20 LHB trains they don't even bother to increase its length for 22 LHB coaches. Trains like Goa express, Vasco Patna SF, Vasco Jasidih exp would have run with 22 coach LHB rakes if they were running from SBC/UBL but since it's VSG in Goa no one cares. Also Vasco...

But the VSG - MAS was introduced way back when the second pit line didn't even exist at VSG. It was short terminated only to increase freight traffic without congestion at VSG. Why was the VSG - Jasidih introduced was it the need of the hour then or to fill the vaccum created by VSG - MAS then the same could have been restarted.
VSG JSME exp additional train introduced now. No one could have opposed the train as huge political pressure was there to introduce it. SWR always opposes VSG SC dedicated train but they couldn't do a thing to oppose JSME exp.
