Please consider flagging this proposed Jan Shatabdi train between Sealdah and Mesra! This train is targeted towards reducing the burden on the Black Diamond Express and also to facilitate easy traveling for the people from Kolkata and in extension, the 24 parganas. The timetable is designed so to have minimal affect on the already running trains, also the train is targeted towards serving the CIC region upto Barkakhana as these areas are devoid of a morning train from Kolkata. This return train is intended to function as a last return train to Kolkata.
