Losing my maternal grandfather. He was a Guard serving under ER's HWH,ASN and once DHN was carved out of ASN, he was posted in DHN division until retirement. He was my inspiration for my passion as railfan, I still remember trysts with him. I even remember the last remaining and serving steam locomotives at Dhanbad loco shed. I had several trips with him inside steam and diesel locomotives with his juniors. He passed away when the DC lines were being electrified...

For me, train delay is never a worrying factor, as most of my casual / unurgent trips r made in trains, while the urgent ones r made in bus / flight. I utilise the opportunity to do as much RF as possible before my delayed train arrives :)
