Finally after a whole freakin' month, I finally got the damn reply to my RTI that I sent to DFCCIL. All the questions that were buggin' me got sorted out and now I know what the hell is gonna happen with EDFC in West Bengal.

1. So it turns out that EDFC ain't gonna construct any section separately under that stupid PPP model anymore. The Shonnagar to Dankuni 538 km section was originally supposed to be in two phases under that bullcrap PPP model, but then the Ministry of Railways told them to switch to the EPC model. And by January 2023, DFCCIL submitted some DPR thingy to the MoR. And guess what? The railways called it a multitracking project. Fancy, huh?

2. This multitracking thingamajig ain't even a part of DFC, bro.

3. Oh, and apparently, EDFC was supposed to end at Shonnagar in freakin' Bihar.

4. And get this, out of the stupid 110.58 hectares of land in West Bengal, they only managed to acquire 108.54 hectares (which is like freakin' 98%). But for some dumb reason, EDFC ended up in Andal. Can you believe it? Smh.
