This is a spare rake. They used this on the day when the LHB coaches were taken for the trial run . Since then, this is lying in SBC area. I spotted this at BNC on Monday
Should definitely be used to run as special train.. Idle rake is simply underutilization of resources.
There will be 500 rakes running with SWR in a day and spare rake doesn't mean underutilization of resources. Every zone should maintain 2 spare rakes which can be used in emergency or abnormal late running of trains apart from spls.
