Some Records and milestones created by India in recent 19th Asian Games.

India grabbed 4th Place in the Medal tally which is third best since beginning. In 1951, India was at 2nd Place but at that time Only 11 Countries participated. Strong countries like China, Korea were not part of Asian Games during those days. In 1962, India was at third place but at that time as well China and Korea were not part of Asian Games.

2. India become the 4th Country after China, Japan and Korea which touch the 100 mark in Total Medal count in a single Asian Games. Even, Hongkong, Taiwan are not able to touch it till now.

3. This is First time, when India grabbed the top place in Archery with grabbing 5 Gold Medals and overtook Korea(The Champion of Archery). Although they grabbed all gold Medals in Compound Archery only which is not part of Olympic Games but in Recurve Archery event as well India won Silver Medal in Man's team and Bronze Medal in Woman team so we can expect our first ever medal in archery in 2024 Olympic Games.

4. Some outstanding performances observed in Shooting as well. India grabbed 7 Gold Medals most of those were in team events which are not part of Olympic Games but a couple of Medals can be expected in Olympic as well because Olympic medalists were part of 10 M Air Rifle woman and 50M Rifle 3 Position Woman and India left those behind and clinched Gold Medals.

5. While everyone was busy in Kabaddi fight, Satvik and Chirag created history by winning Gold Medal in Men's Double Badminton. Pronnoy HS also got Bronze Medal in Man's single despite back pain. In Next Olympic, Satvik/Chirag pair, Lakshya Sen and Pronnoy HS will be strong Contender of Medals in Badminton.

6. India reduced the gap with Iran in Overall Medal tally since beginning of the Asian Game. India has won total 183 Gold Medals while Iran is just 9 Gold Medals ahead at 192. Before starting of Asian Games, India was at 155(Tie up with Kazakhstan) and Iran was at 179.

7. Apart from Neeraj Chopra, Kishor Jena also got Silver medal in Javelin through, Same performance in next year Olympic may provide another Medal to India.

8. Aditi Ashok got Silver Medal in Golf which clearly indicate that she is no more a surprising new player, She will also be a contender of Medal in next year Olympic Games.

9. India left behind Taiwan, Thailand, Qatar, Hongkong after a long break and now if same performance remain continue then within next few events, India will be able to grab a position in Top 3.

10. India needs to work hard in all competitions but Swimming, Boxing and wrestling can provide better performances in next Asian Games. India is still waiting for there first Medal in Swimming and in Boxing, Wrestling as well, India must ensure to win Gold Medal in every Asian Games.
