I would prefer they stopped naming things after politicians who had little to do with the domain. Call it "Stephenson's Bharat", for heck sake, after George Stephenson who is often called the father of Railways, but please stop naming it after politicians. It seems cringey.

Everyone knows why it was named as such. You could find alternate explanations to soothe yourself but it's crystal clear that it was named after the PM. And this isn't the first time this has happened. *cough* Motera Stadium *cough*.
