Mue-Secunderabad is now a fully electrified route, but I wonder why South Central Railway isn't using the "piggy bank" system for the Devagiri Express. They should use an electric locomotive from Mue to Aurangabad, then switch to a diesel locomotive from Aurangabad to CSMT, and finally switch back to an electric locomotive from CSMT to Mue again.

The middle route between Mudkhed and Parbhani is going to take around 4 to 5 more months for electrification. Until then, the South Central Railway (SCR) can easily use the piggy bank system for the Devagiri Ajanta RMM Okha Express and other trains as well. But why isn't SCR using the piggy bank system on the Secunderabad to Manmad route?
