After the opening of pamban bridge, this can be easily done. RSA can be framed between MYS TLGP express (via bengaluru) 16227/16228 with PM: RMM, OEA: TLGP and MYS.

MAP and Chicka bannuvara added. I thought MYS TLGP and this going to run like janata type so sleeper and 8 General will be more than enough to cater the need.
MYS TLGP is a single prime train in that route, basically Bengaluru Talguppa starting from Mysuru, an added connectivity. YPR SMET is an additional ONT for that route which is running as triweekly. Being a solo caterer, it is better to have a mixed (AC + non AC) coach composition. TLGP RMM can have different RSA or can get express CC.
I thought 16581/2 is there till shivamogga which is a big town so beyond shivamogga there r no big towns. MYS SMET also can be done in intercity caterance so this can go in janata caterence.
That's triweekly. If that becomes daily then fine. But still TLGP being a tourist place and having connections to honnavar as well since this being solo caterance one, I would say YPR SMET if becomes daily can be janata and this can be normal one, but it is upto you.
This RSA can give pressure to make that to be a daily train. Talguppa Hannover are not big towns so i feel SL+ GEN caterence is much needed than AC ones. SMET very well got JS, ICE, ONT will be sleep killer anyways.
