It runs with 100% occupancy I e 1128 travellers on Sat and Sun in both directions. On Friday morning 80% and rest days and directions with 50%+ occupancy around 600 travellers avg 70%-75% for the month. An 8 coach will carry a max of 530. On weekends 800+:travellers are end to end travellers. So replacement is not practically feasible. In fact most 16 coach rakes having the same pattern. Unlike other VBs it doesn't have intermediate boarding which are summed and shown 100% occupancy while there is current occupancy in all sections of the train bluffing the public.
Neither SC Pune or NGP SC can provide occupancy for a 16 coach, 8 coach is enough. Pune SC Shatabdi runs with 12 coaches and it hardly fills full during weekdays except weekends in certain directions.

Perfectly said. The travelling pattern is completely different for SNSI VB. 16C is required for this route.
I have seen many people opting out of Road transport and preferring this VB for a one day return Darshan at Shirdi .
This Train however if provided with a halt at MMR, can take care of additional 10-20% occupancy on weekdays.

The trains is required to be speeded up and MMR halt should be introduced. and then wait and watch should be practiced.
