🟠Scope of Work:
➡️Construction of passenger-related retail buildings, parcel buildings, linen buildings, Mechanical Department buildings.
➡️Long-distance and suburban nodes and concourses, foot over bridges (FOBs), skywalks
➡️Thorough roof refurbishment, development of circulating areas, restoration of heritage buildings, landscaping, art works, ballastless tracks, and boundary walls
➡️DRM complex (G+4), rest houses (G+2), new headquarters for Central Railway at the Heritage Node (G+4).
🟠Current Status:
➡️Site office setup completed.
➡️Drone survey, GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) survey, hard barricading work, soil investigation, and mobilization of site works are completed
➡️Topographical survey, aerial survey, and GTI (Geotechnical Testing & Inspection) in circulating areas near Platform no. 18 are completed.
➡️Inventory details for Traffic Accounts Building, New Administrative Building, old annex building, parcel office building, and PF no 18 side are being compiled
➡️Shore piling work, Utility Survey and Temporary office shifting, Inventory of existing structures and support activity at Wadibunder works are in Progress.
🟠Area Statement:
➡️The total area of development at Chhtrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus will be 4,61,534 sq mts out of which- ➡️New construction will be 2,79,507 sq meters
➡️Refurbishment area will be 1,30,912 sq meters
➡️Circulation area will consist of 37,703 sq meters
➡️Other landscaping works of 13,412 sq meters
🟠Ongoing Activities:
➡️Finalization of Master Layout: Barricading of LD Node Area - 21 % completed uptill now.
➡️Setting up of Batching Plant at CSMT & Wadibunder.
Setting up of Modular Permanent Site Offices - 90 % work completed till now.
➡️Shore Piling in DRM Complex Area - 75 % completed now.
➡️Construction of Temporary Parcel Office near Platform No. 18: Shifting of Utilities in proposed DRM Complex Construction Area:
