Train is not getting much traction though .. with an average vacancy of 200-300 seats daily .. IR should now think of it's extension towards DEC. Speed it up by removing unnecessary halts , bypass COR ... for saving important 30 odd mins... give it an attacking TT like BSB VB..
make it happen in 8 hours 30 mins !

I have one more suggestion,
running it with morning org. from UDZ and evening return from Delhi, wud lead in direct competition with AII ⇌ DEC VB and JP ⇌ DEE DD and spoil their game as well.
Hence,
TT of Delhi ⇌ UDZ VB sud revamped with org @ Delhi in the morning and return. It would add relief to NDLS ⇌ AII...

That won't happen for real...no matter how charming that extension looks on paper.
i think , its an NWR train set , they will have to transfer it first to NR first... it is obvious that DEC-UDZ morning direction will always be more profitable..
Regarding direct competition with AII VB and DD , it won't happen in any direction as there will be sufficient gap between the train.. like if it leaves UDZ at 530-600 in the morning .. it will reach AII by 0915-0945 hours.. plus .. AII VB is getting extended to CDG... so its passenger load will gonna increase..

#1 profitability k POV se hi bol rha naa.
#2 even if gap is dere, it will lead to distribution of passengers and hence effecting profitability of each train.
#3 PM can be done @ UDZ on Tuesday. Rake will remain of NWR.

yes ! we need a faster Delhi Jaipur Connectivity in the morning ! Shatabdi is literally crawling and lost the charm ...
AII bypass is a good idea.. if NWR conceives it .. they have not really used AII bypass for any passenger train from Delhi yet...
