🚦Today 10.12.23, New Intermediate block station (IBH) signalling commissioned between UP & DN Lines between Devlali-Lahavit section near Nashik, to increase line capacity & to improve mobility of trains.

🚦This is an important traffic facility work in which line capacity of the Igatpuri- Nashik section is increased.
Devlali to Lahavit is 11.22 km section. Due to this new IBH signalling commissioning today, this 11.22 km section is divided into 2 parts. Due to this, one after 2 trains can be sent between Lahavit to Devlali section instead of earlier 1 train. Once the 1st train crosses this new IBH station, 2nd train can be sent in section of Lahavit to Devlali.

🚦Some important aspects of this work are as under-
1.New UP & DN Intermediate block Signals are commissioned.
2. Alterations are done in interlocking circuits at Devlali & Lahavit stations & Level crossing gate no. 84/F.
2.Major Circuit alterations done at Devlali Yard as recommended by CRS (Commissioner of Railway safety) were carried out in 55 routes out of existing 62 routes.
3.Siemens make Multi section Digital Axle counter has been commissioned with dual detection.
4.HBL make IPS along with arrangement for standby power equipment supply is provided.
5.Efftronics make RTU (Remote telemetry units) provided.
6.Auto Fuse changeover & Alarm system and ELD (Earth Leakage Detector) also provided.
