Why are trains between Pathankot and Baijnath currently suspended? Could not find any news related to this either. I see that trains are only running between Baijnath and Joginder Nagar.

NHAI wanted Alignment change of NH 154. But due to Strategic & Military Importance, the existing alignment is being widened. This has landed the NG Line from Pathankot to Nurpur Road is trouble. See Google Map, NH 154 runs exactly parallelly to the NG line between PTK-NUPR. For Widening the highway, alignment change of the Railway line have been proposed to IR by NHAI.
