A revised TT for a revised TT was issued recently. By looking at the TT, it seems like what you described is true. Crossing is scheduled to happen b/w SA and ED, as BNC VB arrival in CBE is 08 P.M. whereas MAS VB is 08:15 P.M.
Ironically, MAS VB arrives salem first and reaches Coimbatore as last.😀
