The station redevelopment was carried out , with increase in platform length . But even now , station can handle around 16 lhb coach rake and 18 ICF coach rake . It is a capacity enhancement, but not sufficient . With the station being a terminal ( bus depot , road , shops are there beyond the terminal side wall ) , further extension in opposite direction is difficult.
