A little while back, S6-S7-S8 replaced by M1-M2-M3 in 22443/44/45/46 & 14151/52 :(
Why is the train having only A1 it's short journey and the price around Rs 1000 travellers will travel being the only night train to Delhi with Kanpur 40+lacs population. One more daily overnight should be there from Lucknow to Delhi via Kanpur both have a combined population of 80+lacs .
I would assume the night slots would be jam packed on CNB-NDLS section to run a LJN-NDLS train via CNB. Railways will need to choose a weird timing to run it, to give it a proper slot.
Economy class is basically 3A with slightly shittier seats. Just replace them with standard 3A. Or an unpopular opinion; Kanpur has lots of premium trains already, from Rajdhanis to VB; maybe not reduce the SL class in this one ? Otherwise, pax will only have the option of the crawler Kalindi express or the daytime Gomti Express which is basically a last time option.
