You can understand why 12141/42 and 12149/50 were sent to PPTA first. It wasn't about decongesting PNBE or clearing RNCC pitlines, but about clearing slots for cleaning in RNCC for other ECR trains.

The problem now is for the connecting public who come from DNR/PPTA on 12141. Major trains heading towards KIUL from PNBE open (13331 PNBE DHN Exp and 13333 PNBE DUMK Exp), and those going to DNR are very early morning trains (13236 DNR SBG Exp and 18184 ARA TATA Exp). The slot for this train is such that it follows behind 2 Rajdhani trains from DDU to DNR. If there is even a slight delay, they kick out the Rajdhani train and make it even later. Connecting trains are also missed because of this.

The funny thing is that the reason why 12141/42 was extended to PPTA (so that it could be extended to MFP) doesn't allow for this extension, so it always sits on Platform 1 in PPTA. Those who want to go towards MFP rely on 13226 DNR JYG Intercity.
