Member115207AKA281110~ 1359 blog postsOn stage ugly spat between Raiganj MP & Uttar Dinajpur BJ Party District President shows how Railways are being used as Political tool even now. Someone clearly & rightly said Railway must not be used as Political Tool. Railway Budget was scrapped because of this reason. But his colleagues are still doing politics in Railways. The spat occurred during inauguration of LHB rake of 13145/13146 Kolkata-Radhikapur Express(Unofficially & Locally known as Dinajpur Express now). District president commented that LHBfication of 13145/13146 will help people get comfortable travel between Raiganj area to Kolkata & it is the best train. Then Raiganj MP questioned about Kulik Express, she was replied with the fact about Kulik Express taking more time & running via longer route. This resulted in an ugly spat.
