They are many trains reaching Chennai egmore and Chennai central in morning and leaving late at night. One such rake can be used to run as unreserved train to Tiruvanamalai via Katpadi and VPM. Hyderabad Chennai express can leave at 645 to VPM via katpadi while Tanjavur egmore can run via Tambaram VPM.
True. any such trains with ICF/LHB rakes can be utilised for MAS-TNM via KPD while MEMU train can run via VM minimizing the reversal efforts.
