In senior citizen quota reservations - 1person senior citizen & other person non senior citizen. In senior citizen quota how to book tickets to both(senior & non senior citizens)... Dudes.

Please understand that sr.. citizen quota or lower berth quota is applicable for men above 60yrs and women above 45 years.
Maximum 2 tickets can be booked per booking in the above combination.
If not you cannot combine and book seperate tickets. However while booking 2nd ticket if so there will be an option of preferred coach. We can input same...

Yeah, that coach ID option is really useful in these kind of situations.
But in reality very rarely it works. I have used that option for 4-5 times only once it worked
my strike rate has been 100%. Used more than a dozen times. Every time I got a coach i indicated. Maybe because whenever I exercised this option, ample seats were vacant. Though in tight situations too twice or thrice I got seats in required coach.
True it depends on number of vacancies at the time of booking. It works better for trains like Humsafar.
One more suggestion I can say is if sr. Citizen (I mean women above 45 and men above 60yrs) are booking in general RAC/WL also have good chances of confirmation. As cancelled tickets booked under lower berth quota will be used as first preference for waitlist sr citizens.
